With 2015 drawing to an end and the Christmas season coming up, business tends to slow down however you have expenses that do not go on break.

Today we will be discussing 5 key ways to boost your cashflow this Christmas.

1. Boost your marketing

  • When companies look for ways to lower expenses, they often end up cutting back on one of the most important parts of thier business: marketing.

  • Marketing increases your presence in the marketplace, create positive brand association and develop targeted and effectiveness marketing plans which will help you reach your company goals.

2. Thank your clients

  • Reach out and thank your clients for their business and loyalty.

  • Your clients want to feel valued. By thanking them they will feel a two-way relationship with your company.

  • A satisfied customer is one who will continue to buy from you and refer other customers.

  • At Success Accounting Group we are organising a Family and Friends appreciation night where we thank each employee for their contribution to our company – this builds a fun team culture after a year of dedication and achievements.

3. Get paid

  • To improve cash flow, get your invoices out.

  • Upon job completion, send your clients the invoice as the sooner you send out an invoice, the sooner you’ll get paid.

  • Engage a debt collector to retrieve outstanding payments on your behalf.

4. Be creative with how you spend money

A few creative examples of how you can save money is:

  • Instead of spending money on expensive wine as a thank you gift to a client, perhaps do a testimonial for their business. They will be appreciative of the free marketing!

  • Review all subscriptions. Are they necessary? If not, cancel them or opt for a cheaper package.

5. Improve your financial skills or get expert advice

  • Improving your managing and financial skills can help you improve your cash flow ready for the upcoming New Year.

  • To boost your cashflow and improve your financial skills, contact the Success Accounting Group team by scheduling an appointment
